My love of the oil cloth on the tables at the cabin went hay wire. The delicate bones of fish that was dinner are patterns on gold plates. Sneaky playing cards peek out from the plates. The golden dinner ware is from Italy, where normally paper plates would be present.

A wood boat with reflections of the moon numbered with my birthday. I am usually the boat and cheat at solitaire.
This started the vase series. An art teacher's assignment was to paint a memory map. I had to put my memories in a vase, I did not want my memories spilling about.
I painted the memory of the broken swing set that was in the playground of a Catholic church that was across form my Grandmothers house in Rice Lake, WI.
I did not realize until a friend pointed out that I spelled my name with the broken swing set. Hmmm.
